Umbria is a fantastic region. For us and many other travelers it is among the best of Italy. Although we like the area very much we discovered that there are so many beautiful country houses, villas and luxury apartments for rent in Umbria, which look very beautiful from the outside, but far from ideal from the inside: often outdated and/or decorated without any sense of style or taste.
